Meet Chandra

I bring 30 years of practice on the path of devotion and Yoga to all my endeavors in life.  I am guided by a deep curiosity about the connection between body, mind, and spirit.

While teaching and serving at the Hanuman Temple and Neem Karoli Baba Ashram in Taos, New Mexico, I recognized a need to better support the emotional and psychological challenges my students and community members were experiencing. This led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling, where I trained in a somatic framework integrated with a transpersonal perspective.

Since becoming a Licensed Psychotherapist in 2018, my work has focused on supporting women navigating chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, early attachment wounds, and trauma. My approach is holistic, weaving together body-based awareness, emotional healing, and spiritual insight.

In 2015, I began a deep immersion in the philosophy and practices of traditional Tantra, with a primary focus in the Sri Vidya lineage. This sacred framework continues to inform both my personal life and my work with clients, offering a path of integration, embodiment, and reverence for all aspects of being.

In 2024, I expanded my practice by becoming an Ayurvedic Health Coach. Ayurveda, an ancient system rooted in the rhythms and elements of the natural world, provides a powerful lens for understanding physical symptoms and restoring balance. Through this work, I help clients align with their unique constitution, the seasons, and the environments they live in—supporting greater harmony within themselves, their relationships, and the world around them.

I have raised two boys, lived between California and New Mexico for the past 2 decades, and am endlessly devoted to learning on this path of Soul.
